Rules and Tech Information

General

  1. There is a $15.00 entry fee for each pickup or tractor.
  2. Payback is 3 places for stock tractor and pickup classes.
  3. Payback for CMP classes.
  4. Limit of 10 entries per class.
  5. Only ONE entry per vehicle except by permission.
  6. No dual fuels or oxidizers (except ethanol) allowed in stock classes.
  7. Contestants are entered on a first come basis until classes are filled.
  8. Drivers must be 15 years or older. Drivers under 18 must have a signed parental consent (at sign-in).
  9. A violation of any rule constitutes a D/Q.
  10. Competitors must stop upon signal from flagman. Vehicle must be in neutral during hook/unhooking.
  11. Weigh-in is from 2:00 – 5:30 p.m. on August 22, 2010, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
  12. Tractors

  13. Stock 4,500 – 9000 lbs will run with 4 mph speed limit. RPM limited to 10% over stock. No dyno. No duals.
  14. Stock 10,500 – 20,000 will run with 5 mph speed limit. RPM limited to 10% over stock. No dyno.
  15. Tractor front weight bracket and weights no more than 36 inches ahead of tractor.
  16. Stock tractor hitches: Stock drawbar length must be a minimum of 24 inches from center of rear axle to pull point. Hitching point is not to exceed 20 inches from top edge to the ground. NO part of third link assembly can be used for added hitch strength or height control. Three point arms used for weight supports must be fastened solid or chained up, so arms cannot drop down if lever is moved (for safety of hooking staff). All drivers must furnish their own clevis to accept a 3 inch hook. NOTE: (Tractors over 10,500): We want to eliminate side hooking and clevises for safety reasons. Please make a heavy duty hitch with a 3 inch hole and bolt it to your drawbar.

  19. Driver only in truck. No passengers.

NO REGISTRATIONS TAKEN AFTER THURSDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 19, 2010

NIGHT OF PULL: Don’t be late!! Please do not wait until the last minute to register & weigh-in.
Registration booth will close at 5:30 p.m.

PIT ADMISSION

One wristband per paid hook
All others $10 each
If you have small children, please take them to the grandstand… admission is free for them.
